Join us to celebrate three exciting new exhibitions opening at Bundaberg Regional Art Gallery.
A Wearable Canvas from Australian Wearable Art Festival (AWAF) will be a captivating exhibition featuring a collection of winning pieces from the AWAF's past shows, offering audiences a rare opportunity to experience these remarkable works up close.
One Thread Many Loops: the encoded materiality of home, Mieke van den Berg's strong sculptural works are created using red thread to symbolise time, domesticity, connecting lineage, societal interconnections, anger and power, as well as wool to represent the thread of time and her childhood memories.
Shifting Ground curated by Larissa Warren is a celebratory exhibition that explores how clay, as both material and metaphor, can carry stories across time, connecting past makers with present-day artists.
