Retired Sgt David Raymond BM APM shares his story of Police Dog Vader, his courageous colleague, and of his time in the Queensland Police.
Retired Sgt David Raymond BM APM has written the true crime book Vader: A Police Dog Story. The book recounts Dave's 36-year career with the Queensland Police Service, including 26 years as a police dog handler, with a particular focus on Police Dog Vader.
David's author talk will combine storytelling with images and videos of police dogs, as well as locations connected to some of Australia’s most wanted people.
