Exhibition Storytelling Workshop with Cara-Ann Simpson

Enhance your curatorial and storytelling skills with this intensive workshop designed for artists.

Cara-Ann Simpson, an artist, curator and educator, will guide you through the process of identifying and developing your exhibition story ahead of the opening of Bundaberg Regional Galleries’ 2027 exhibitions proposals from the 1 April 2026.

This workshop is suitable for emerging, established and hobbyist artists who want to develop their professional skills and take their practice to the next level. Participants should have a body of work, or are planning a body of work, and are looking to exhibit.

This workshop includes:

  • Comprehensive workshop booklet including tips and resources to take home
  • Brief artist’s talk and tour of Furari Flores
  • Lunch and refreshments

What participants need to bring:

  • Artwork images – printed or on a device such as a phone, tablet or laptop
  • Ideas for an exhibition
  • Notepad

Cost: $75 per person
