Fees and Payments

Bundaberg Regional Galleries offer artists the options to be paid a loan fee for their artworks or to sell their artworks in the exhibition.

If a loan fee is paid, the applicable fee will be outlined in the Loan Agreement.  We aspire to implement the artist fee recommendations outlined by the National Association of Visual Artists (NAVA). When allocating loan fees, several elements are considered including the career level of the artist/s, the scale of the exhibition, and whether the works are new or have been exhibited previously.

If works are to be sold, there is a 25% commission on all sales, and the artist is responsible for building this into their prices.  Bundaberg Regional Galleries will support sales by producing a sales brochure for the exhibition.

Community art groups, school groups, organisations, and collectors who exhibit with Bundaberg Regional Galleries will not be eligible for a Loan Fee but are eligible to sell their artworks.
