The raucous revival that celebrates the wildest woman in the Wild West

Welcome to the rough-and-tumble town of Deadwood, where swaggering sharpshooter Calamity Jane is mocked and admired in equal measure. Deadly with a whip or a quip, her bluster and bravado mask a longing for something deeper.

Cabaret daredevil Naomi Price (Drizzle Boy, Ladies in Black) slips into Jane's trail-worn boots for this rootin', tootin', unruly and unpredictable ride - a bold reimagining of the classic musical that brings a barrelful of dirt, grit and heart to the stage.

Join Calamity's piano-fuelled posse and pull up a stool at one of the on-stage saloon tables to be part of the action. This intimate, immersive experience ropes audiences right into the story, making every performance a must-see event.

This revival features all your favourite numbers - including Secret Love and The Black Hills of Dakota - but this ain't the Doris Day's Calamity Jane, no siree. This stripped-back staging shucks off the buckskin and digs deeper into the grit, humour and heart of the frontier legend.

Hailed as "outstandingly clever... gut-bustlingly funny [and with] an extraordinarily generous heart"(The Australian), saddle up and ride before dawn 'cause these here tickets will fly out the door faster than you can crack a whip!

"Deliriously funny, impeccably staged. Beg, borrow, hold up a stagecoach, rob a Wells Fargo - but make sure you get a ticket." Brisbane Times

"This heart-warming, hilarious musical ticks every box for a fabulous night out."- ArtsHub

From the moment you enter the theatre, you’re swept into the Golden Garter Saloon. Alive with drinkers, gamblers and the constant threat of chaos, setting the scene for an unruly, unpredictable ride. This is especially true for the dozens of audience members seated onstage at the saloon tables, who find themselves becoming part of the raucous revival whenever they least expect it.

Join Calamity Jane’s piano-fuelled posse and pull up a stool at one of the onstage tables to dive right into the action.
