This practical, no-nonsense workshop pulls back the curtain on what it takes to build a sustainable art career. Led by artist Avi Amesbury (Shifting Perspectives: The Self Reconciliation Project), this session deep dives into the often-overlooked essentials of stepping up your practice - honing your visual voice, identifying your audience, building networks, navigating residencies, collaborations and accessing funding. Blending strategic planning with her ceramics practice, Avi offers practical tips, real-world strategies and a space to reflect on your own direction amongst fellow artists. Through conversation and hands-on exercises, you’ll map your goals, sharpen your professional approach and walk away with greater clarity, confidence and momentum alongside a community of creative peers.
