UFO: UnFinished Objects is a creative community project inviting participants to contribute unfinished artworks or creative objects to a shared “library,” exchange them with another participant and complete a different piece.

Objects might include sewing, weaving, embroidery, sculpture, pottery, painting, knitting, jewellery, dollmaking, LEGO or other creative forms. Participants may complete works traditionally or take them in an entirely new direction.

The project centres on collaboration, skill-sharing and creative exchange — encouraging people to see both objects and creative processes differently while building connection within the community.

The program will include facilitated drop-in sessions at the Gin Gin Community Hub, where participants can contribute works, swap objects and engage in creative making. The project will culminate in a group exhibition and an informal Meet the Maker event, where participants meet the person who completed their artwork.

No experience required — all ages welcome, no booking required.
